Instruction Beginner

The Baseball Canada Instructor Beginner Professional Development modules are designed to provide valuable and accessible resources and training to instructors who are working with children aged 10 to 16 years old in an instruction/lesson format. Instructors can be trained and certified in 4 different specialties (hitting, infielding, outfielding and baserunning).  These modules will provide Professional Development points (PD points) towards your status as an active Baseball Canada coach.

The program is comprised of four specialty modules:

  • Hitting - a Provincial/local 4-5 hour, in-class or gym/field clinic that you can attend only after completing the On-line Module. The clinic covers basic hitting mechanics.
  • Infielding - a Provincial/local 4-5 hour, in-class or gym/field clinic that you can attend only after completing the On-line Module. The clinic covers basic infielding mechanics.
  • Outfielding - a Provincial/local 4-5 hour, in-class or gym/field clinic that you can attend only after completing the On-line Module. The clinic covers basic outfielding mechanics.
  • Baserunning - a Provincial/local 4-5 hour, in-class or gym/field clinic that you can attend only after completing the On-line Module. The clinic covers basic baserunning mechanics.
